Volunteers are at the heart of Aythos programs. At its founding, Aythos recruited volunteers to teach in schools in Nepal. Today Aythos recruits volunteers to participate in projects in rural areas of Nepal.

Graduate Programs and Field Volunteering

Graduate student projects and research are a valued part of our programs in Nepal. If you are looking to get credit for field work requirements at your school or get field experience during summer break, or any time of year, we welcome your contributions to the diversity of ideas to our programs.

Our mission includes fostering health and sustainable livelihoods. These programs directly implement sustainable livelihood building projects or contribute to improving long-term outcomes of traditionally disenfranchised groups, including gender and class. If your academic programs might fit these program areas and want to lead or participate in a project that will support Aythos beneficiaries in rural Nepal, please get in touch to find out more about volunteering with Aythos.
